Colour, Intuition, and the Beauty of the Bespoke

As we step into the warmth and light of summer, we’re reminded how deeply our
surroundings affect our mood and energy. A colour isn’t just a surface; it’s a feeling.
It shapes the atmosphere of a room, evokes memory, and creates harmony when
chosen with care. This is the essence of what our colour consultations are
about—more than just selecting shades, they are a journey into discovering what
feels right, what feels like you.

At Francesca’s Paints, we have always believed in the power of the personal. While
our 247 signature colours and 26 carefully curated collections offer a beautiful
foundation, we are never limited by the palette. Quite the opposite—our
consultations often lead us to mix entirely new colours, born from the specific light of
a room, the texture of a wall, or simply an instinctual response to a space.

There is something quietly powerful about a home that flows tonally, where each
room gently transitions to the next with depth, warmth, or freshness. This is where
our A4 samples come into their own. Seeing a colour in its full scale, in the actual
light of your space, makes all the difference. It allows us to stay, observe, adjust, and
fine-tune until the feeling is just right.

Colour of the Month

Our colour of the month is Giorgio’s Wisteria, a mid-tone blue with a soft, enveloping presence. Calming and quietly dramatic, it’s made with a thoughtful balance of blue, black, purple, and burnt umber—creating a velvety richness that’s both contemporary and nostalgic. It feels like a gentle embrace, perfect for rooms where you want to retreat, rest, and feel at ease.
