Welcome to Francesca’s Paints; established in 1996, our artisan studio is based in Battersea and everything we do here is handmade.
Featured in many magazines, including Elle Decoration, The World of Interiors and Living etc, our velvety, light absorbent paint is made with great care and love – each Colour Collection has a story, each bespoke tin of paint is hand-mixed and our beautiful colour charts are hand painted.
Our Story
One of the first eco-friendly paint companies in the UK, our bases, the Lime Wash and the Eco Emulsion, come from Italy and we colour them in the studio. We love making exclusive, elegant and unique colours and colour matching.
Francesca’s Paints are:

CELEBRATING 25 YEARS IN COLOUR
From her studio in Battersea, London, Francesca Wezel creates hand mixed, velvety paint, with immense depth and tone that changes with the light of day. To celebrate 25 years of Francesca’s Paints, she has selected nine colours, which capture the essence of the paint created across 25 collections and 236 shades.
‘Each collection tells a story, inspired by art, history, travel and nature’ says Francesca, whose expert eye for colour is underscored by an artisanal approach to paint, using the finest – and often oldest – pigments to achieve a unique, luxurious finish.

COLOUR COLLECTIONS 24 Collections 236 Colours
Our wonderful array colours are inspired by travels, art and nature. Our collections will inspire you to create the perfect backdrop for your style of living. We have created our colour collections to enable you to find the perfect compilation for your home.
Each collection contains colour combinations that work together collectively, creating a flowing colour scheme. But as all our colours work well together, you can of course handpick from across any collection. We are here to help you choose the colours that will go best with your colour scheme to create the best solution for your home.
Collections are listed in chronological order, from most recent. From 1 litre onward, all of our colours are available in all of our finishes. Each Colour Collection is hand painted either in the Lime Wash or the Eco Emulsion, and it is detailed on each collection which product has been used, so you know what to expect when you order an A4 page or sample pot.
