Eco Fix
THE PRODUCT
Francesca’s Eco Fix is an Eco friendly sealer. It is free from solvents and VOCs. It helps the application of the Eco Emulsion on surfaces that are too absorbent,
like cement render, powdery plastered walls, lime plaster and concrete.
Francesca’s eco friendly sealer is breathable and acts like a support between the surface that needs to be painted and the Eco Emulsion. It can be used internally only.
DILUTION
Before application, surfaces must be cleared of loose material, grease and oil.
Dilute 4 parts of water to 1 part of Francesca’s Eco Fix. It is essential that a film is not created on the surface, please test on a small section before covering the wall. If a film occurs please add more water, the ratio of water can increase to 8 parts of water to 1 of Eco Fix.
The reason why a film must not occur is because the Eco Emulsion must still be able to penetrate the wall, if that does not happen the paint will not stick.
Eco Fix can be applied by roller or by brush but note that the finish has to be very even to create the perfect base for the Eco Emulsion.
COVERAGE
10 -15 square metres over 1 coat, you only need one coat applied evenly on the wall
DRYING TIME
Eco Fix is touch dry 30 minutes but always leave 24 hours to repaint.
CLEANING
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before washing. Wash tools immediately after use in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses.
