Oil Eggshell
What is Oil Eggshell?
Francesca’s Oil Eggshell is a high quality oil-based satin sheen finish for woodwork and metal, suitable for internal and external use.
Please note that the paint looks glossy for up to 3 weeks after the application, when it will go back to its original eggshell finish. This is because it takes this long for the paint to completely dry and harden. It comes in all our colours

Suitable Surfaces
Our Oil Based Eggshell Paint is formulated to be applied to woods and metals, both interior and exterior, including:
Skirting
Doors
Window Frames
Furniture
Radiators
Piping / Plumbing
Surface Preparation
Ensure surface to be painted is clean, dry and free from grease.
Wear a suitable face mask when dry sanding.
Application
Stir well before use. Apply evenly by brush or roller and avoid overspreading.
Apply one or more coats as required and allow 16-24 hours between coats under normal conditions.
Coverage
1 litre will cover approximately 20 sq. metres (depending on the porosity of the surface).
Strong and contrasting colour may require additional coats.
When using more than one tin of a colour, intermix before use.
Cleaning
Remove as much paint as possible from application equipment before washing.
Wash equipment immediately after use with White Spirit or Turpentine Substitute.
Do not empty product into drains or watercourses.
Replace lid firmly.
Store away from heat and flame.
General Information
Ensure maximum ventilation during application and drying. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse with copious amount of water and seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children.
