What is Waterbased Gloss?
Francesca’s Water Based Gloss produces a high tough finish that dries fast. It is a non-yellowing formula that dries fast and has low odour, ensuring an easy application.
Suitable Surfaces
Francesca’s Waterbased Gloss has been formulated for interior and exterior wood and metal.
Surface Preparation
Ensure surface to be painted is sound, clean, dry and free from grease. Rub down sound previously painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper to provide a key. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding
Application
Do not stir. For best results fully load the brush and apply liberally and evenly. Avoid overspreading. Do not apply when air or surface temperature is below 10°C or externally when rain is imminent.
Coverage
1 litre will cover approximately 15 square metres, depending on the nature and porosity of the surface. Strong or contrasting colours may require additional coats. Recoatable after 3-4 hours. When using more than one can of a colour in the same room, intermix before use.
Cleaning
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Clean immediately after use in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Replace lid firmly. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses.
