I was incredibly touched by the beauty I found on the Outer Hebridean island of Barra, off the North-West coast of Scotland. I was lucky to spend time on the island over the summer, and its colours inspired me, eliciting a profound sense of calm and serenity.

Each day, I experienced a wonderful kaleidoscope of colours, which changed hour to hour depending on the varying levels of light. The numerous shades of green, the deep blue hues of the sea and the ever-changing tones of the sky. The colour of the sand, the seaweed on the beach, the lichen on the rocks, and the crofts, all provided much inspiration for a new collection.
